Here at London Planning and Design, we provide services for both residential and commercial clients in North London, Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. This includes design and planning for home renovations such as extensions, garage & loft conversions, interior knock through & remodelling, porches and conservatories, and for our commercial clients; new build dwellings and flats.

With great knowledge from years of experience in the building and planning industry, we are always more than happy to research the feasibility of your desired build and offer our guidance. We'll also distinguish if it falls under permitted development or will require planning permission.
Home Survey Stage 1
A brainstorming session in which we want to hear all of your ideas and requirements so that we can fully explore the options that you have. Our team can then offer advise and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of your options. We feel that it is really vital to not only fully meet your design requirements on paper but also to make sure the renovation or build is viable in terms of budget. We provide on the spot, approximate costing of the works you are thinking of doing is something that we can do and we feel that this makes us stand out from the rest.
Home Survey Stage 2
A member of the London Planning and Design team will undertake a measured survey of your home and take photographs of the exterior property.
By the end of your home survey our aim is that we have opened your eyes to alternatives you didn’t know you had, your requirements have been fully met and that you are starting to really envision your project.
Home surveys can be carried out in two separate appointments or all in one.
Detailed Drawings
You will receive:
- Planning drawings to show existing and proposed floor plans and elevations
- Detail of proposed renovation
- Block plan
- Building regulation drawings
Our dedicated team aim to have drawings completed and back to you within seven days following your home survey. Drawings are always created to comply with building regulations.
Should you require any changes to these drawings, we will happily make amendments and re-issue for your approval.
